RaceChip Ultimate and C63 S AMG, two powerhouses united
The RaceChip Ultimate for the C63 AMG and C63 S AMG is available from USD 699 in RaceChip’s online store and from select partners. The Connect feature can be purchased for an extra USD 50. Performance enhancement with innovative smartphone control
In August, RaceChip launched the Ultimate with the smartphone Connect feature, its latest product that promises the perfect driving experience. This feature is now available for the C63 and C63 S AMG at an additional cost of USD 50. The RaceChip Ultimate installed in the engine compartment is paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth. The driver thereby has the possibility of choosing, via the RaceChip App, from three different power levels that RaceChip has fine-tuned to AMG’s handmade engine
Efficiency, Sport and Race. This allows tailoring the performance enhancement to the driver’s individual requirements. In addition to its different performance levels, other features of the Ultimate with Connect include: a warm-up timer to protect the engine, the automatic update of the RaceChip optimisation software and the installation of new power modes via firmware update.
The unlocked potential of the C63
The C63 S by AMG already finds itself in the top class of motorsport technology intended for the road. Yet RaceChip’s developmental engineers have proved that, even here, power reserves can be found that are just waiting to be activated. Out of the factory, the 4.0 L V8 boasts over 503 hp and 516 lb-ft. With electronic power enhancement, it has demonstrated 590 hp and 608 lb-ft in testing. This is a performance boost that will certainly be felt on the road and make any driver’s heart race. The C63 S does never need to shy away from going head-to-head with any competing sports car and will impress in terms of acceleration as well as lateral dynamics.

RaceChip has the highest standards for quality and safety. These are underscored by the extensive testing RaceChip uses to optimally tune the performance enhancement to the specific engine. RaceChip’s optimisation software also ensures that the performance boost is achieved within the ideal rpm range for that engine. The RaceChip Ultimate, with or without the smartphone Connect feature, includes a two-year engine warranty that covers all the essential components of the engine and drive system. An additional five-year product warranty is also included.

The Mercedes Benz C63 S AMG already offers a special driving experience straight out of the factory. With the RaceChip Ultimate, it can compete head-to-head with sports cars.
The installation of the RaceChip Ultimate with the Plug & Drive procedure does not require any expertise on the part of the driver. After a quick installation, it activates a performance increase of 87 hp and 92 lb-ft.
For those who seek to be an extra step ahead the Connect feature for the RaceChip Ultimate is recommended. The new RaceChip Connect feature has been available since August for an extra charge of USD 50. It enables the control of three different power levels via the RaceChip smartphone app.
